How will we become a community rather than a growing list of subscribers? #2
The strongest ecosystems are made by the interwebbing of diverse elements into a coherent networked whole.

Sometimes I just need the world to 'go quiet' so that I can collect my thoughts and sort out what my best contribution to improving the world for kids can and should be.

We have established the need for a quiet home for all ages to be together with a clear view of the trees and the forest.
We are meeting to meet that need on the 14th of June.
Before that we are meeting to understand if and how Free to Learn is a suitable home for a Global Alliance on the 13th of June.
What else do we need to become a community?
We need active members who meet regularly to coordinate decisions and action.
Active Members
Many of you stated you wish to be active members of the community by signing up.
We have not managed to maintain communication and coordination with you.
We want to move into co-action.
In order to manage this we need a Collaborative Administration & Promotion Team.
The point is not to add work but to merge and share work thus reducing it.
If you want to be part of the Administration & Promotion team let’s meet for a brainstorming session on Thursday the 15th of June, 6-7 pm UK Time.
Collaborative Administration & Promotion team: who and how?
Meetings
We want to reactivate our monthly coordination meetings.
Τhe purpose of these meetings is to reduce work by merging the separate coordination meetings on the issue. It is not another open discussion.
They also aim to move beyond solely online interaction by combining in person with online meeting.
If you want to be part of the team organising these meetings and/or have a proposal for step 1: identifying the favorite day & time please respond here.
In solidarity,
Zoë
